Crathern Machinery Group, Inc. is pleased to announce another upgrade kit. This kit is for our customers who have our "SL" and "SLC" laminator and casemaker series machines.

The moveable feed head kit is designed to allow for quick and easier changeovers. This kit enables the feed head on the gluer to be moved toward the far-left edge of the conveyor, away from the operator side. In doing so, this allows the left-hand edge of the label (if you are standing in front of the feed table facing the gluer) to come off the glue roll onto the conveyor in the same place each time; regardless of the label size. By moving the feed head to the center of the label, the left edge of the label will always stay in the same position.

When the label is placed on the conveyor in the same position it will allow the spotter to transfer the board/blank, regardless of size, to the stop bar which is now in a permanent position. This will eliminate the time consuming procedure of having to adjust the spotter whenever there is a changeover.
